Rev. Jeffrey Ugoretz was born and raised in New Jersey and is now proud to be a New Yorker.  He graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary in 2001 and has been the pastor of First Presbyterian Church since 2016.  Prior to entering seminary, Jeff practiced law for 7 years, until he felt God’s call to enter the ministry. He loves serving the Lord and this church.  Jeff is a firm believer in community involvement and is proud to participate in community groups such as Rotary. and Centre Stage Community Theatre.  In his spare time, he enjoys reading and playing board games with his family.

Rosie joined our team in June 2019 to assist the staff and congregation in the church office, supporting  the ministries of the church while ensuring that God’s work at FPC runs smoothly. She brings a wealth of experience in administration, communication and organization. She also coordinates details for events and helps maintain our presence on social media. She enjoys singing, traveling, gardening and educating the local community on the art of meditation. She and her husband Skip both grew up in the Corning area.
